Lingoda Teachers

lingoda reviews

It takes more than just following a curriculum to learn a language.
That's where our native-speaking instructors come in.

Lingoda's teachers are all certified, qualified, and have a track record of excellent teaching. Teaching is not a pastime for them; it is their profession.

How do you choose your teacher?

Every time you take a class at Lingoda, you will have the opportunity to study with a different teacher.

Learning in a variety of styles and accents is what makes the Lingoda experience so unique and prepares you for life.

You can, however, book a teacher's classes if you find one you like.

Let us know what happens in a class, specifically?

You will be able to join a class with 2-4 other students from across the world after scheduling a class on Lingoda's platform. The teachers will introduce themselves and begin teaching the lesson utilizing learning materials that will be available for download after the class.

We invite you to interact with your classmates as well as the materials and the teacher during class.
The teacher will summarize the lesson at the end of class to ensure that everyone has comprehended it.

Will my blunders be corrected by the teachers?

Everyone makes mistakes; it is through these mistakes that we learn. Lingoda courses are kept small (3-5 students) so that you can not only practice speaking and receive customized criticism, but also learn from other students' mistakes.

Your teacher will make sure that everyone gets enough opportunity to practice reading aloud, answering questions, and conversing.

You may always join up for an additional private lesson by purchasing more credits in your account if you want more personal input (for example, to polish your own resume letter or study the most difficult grammatical issues).

Is it appropriate for my language level and learning objectives?

Lingoda provides language learning plans for all levels of language learners, from beginners to advanced.

The CEFR, or Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is used to structure Lingoda's modules. It's an internationally recognized classification system that ranges from A1 to C2 (A1 beginner and moving up to C2 fluent).

Once you've signed up with Lingoda, you can use our free placement test to determine your current CEFR level before you start learning.

Will I have adequate time to learn?

Their group lessons are offered online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are taught by professors in all time zones, allowing you to establish a schedule that works for you. Take classes whenever and wherever you choose.

Why does Lingoda offer teacher rotation?

Depending on the locality, each language has its own accents, dialects, and phrases.

Their children enjoy learning from a range of professors because it exposes them to the many different ways to express themselves within a single language.

This also enables you to discover and shape your own unique style of speaking the language with confidence and individuality.

Why should I choose Lingoda over a typical school to learn?

The main difference between Lingoda and an offline school is that Lingoda accommodates your busy schedule: you can enroll in a class at any time and from any location.

Otherwise, Lingoda might be thought of as a traditional school that has gone online.

All of our instructors are native speakers who are trained and follow a study plan created by language specialists.

Is Lingoda an app for language learning?

Lingoda isn't a language-learning application. They're a language school that's available online.

They also provide live classes with qualified native speaker professors, just like any other institution.

Nothing can substitute actual connection and personalized input from a real person, according to Lingoda.

Is it necessary for me to stick to a class schedule?

Certainly not. You can plan classes around your hectic — and often unpredictable — schedule.
You may attend a session at 7 p.m. one day and a lesson at 10 a.m. the next.

This is one of the reasons why Lingoda students prefer our online sessions to traditional language schools, where you must commit to a recurring and fixed schedule. You set your own schedule with us.

Lingoda Learning Progress

When will my language skills improve?

It's up to you. Your advancement depends on your efforts, as it does with acquiring any new ability.

Make language learning a habit if you want to learn quickly. For optimum results, concentrate and participate in class, as well as finish the downloading materials at the end of each class.

It also depends on the Lingoda plan you select, as some are more demanding than others.

I used to take classes from a private tutor. Will working in a group help me progress?

Definitely! Learning in a group setting has various advantages. You might begin by practicing speaking with your teacher and classmates.

Second, you will learn not only from correcting your own errors but also from noticing and correcting the errors of other students.

However, if you want some extra one-on-one time to practice with a native-speaking teacher and receive more individualized feedback, Lingoda also offer private sessions.

Will I be given something to indicate my progress in learning?

Yes! Each CEFR level you finish with Lingoda earns you a certificate. Many institutions around the world recognize our credentials, which are issued in compliance with the CEFR.

Lingoda also provides their English students with the opportunity to take the Linguaskill from Cambridge test thanks to our partnership with Cambridge Assessment English.
Because the test is given online, you can take it whenever and anywhere you like.

Lingoda's Sprint

During the Lingoda Sprint Promotion, what languages and levels can I learn?

You can study English, German, French, Spanish, or Business English with Lingoda. It makes no difference if you are a complete beginner, intermediate, or experienced student. You will discover appropriate courses for your level at Lingoda.

If you are unsure about your level, please click on the link below to take a quick test.

Please remember that you must be an intermediate learner to participate in our Business English Sprint Promotion.

You may also modify your level at any point throughout the Sprint Promotion if it is too easy or demanding, or if you have completed a level. Your Sprint refund eligibility will not be impacted.

What is the procedure for participating in the Lingoda Sprint Promotion?

The Language Sprint takes place multiple times throughout the year.
For exact dates, please visit Lingoda's website. The Sprint requires a two-month commitment to participate.

Lingoda will automatically collect the admission fee or the first month's payment from your chosen payment method upon registration.

The second installment will be due one month after the first. After the Sprint, your course automatically converts to a regular Lingoda subscription to help you maintain the skills you've learned.

You can cancel your post-Sprint subscription during the last month of the challenge if you choose to take a break after your Sprint.

If I win the Lingoda Sprint Promotion, do I get my money back?

Yes, you will if you complete the Sprint Promotion successfully! You will receive the payment for Month 1 and the payment for Month 2 in total.

When is the Lingoda Sprint Promotion going to begin? When can I start taking classes?

Because Sprint has a limited number of spots, sign up as soon as possible. The start date will be announced on Lingoda's dedicated Sprint website. You will receive credits to book your lessons once you have paid in full for your first month, ensuring a seamless start to the Sprint.

If you register for a class before the start date, you will be disqualified from the cashback promotion.

What if I miss a class?

If you miss a lesson due to Lingoda's technical difficulties, the class will count toward the Sprint Promotion once we have determined that the problem is with Lingoda and the teacher has confirmed the problem.

Your class credit will also be refunded. The credit can only be used after the Sprint Promotion has ended.

Lingoda will not make an exception if you miss a class due to personal reasons, and you will no longer be eligible for a refund of your course cost.

You will, of course, be able to continue to strengthen your language skills by taking the lessons that you have paid for during the Sprint Promotion period!

How can I obtain the award for completing the Lingoda Sprint Promotion?

Following the contest criteria in the terms and conditions, you must attend the agreed-upon number of classes throughout each Sprint month. Each Sprint month is exactly 30 days long.

  Is it challenging or difficult?

Yes, it is intended to be a test and to push your limits! Thousands of satisfied students who completed past challenges can attest that the work is well worth it in terms of language skills – and a refund if you finish the course.

How can I make the most of my class time?

We strongly advise that you verify your internet connection, microphone, and audio settings at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.

You can also download and look through the learning materials before the session if you wish.
Drink a glass of water to stay hydrated during the class because you'll be talking a lot!

Concentration is aided by a quiet room or workspace.

Are the course materials included?

On your student platform, Lingoda gives all of the course materials for free. There are no additional materials or textbooks required.

 Who are Lingoda's teachers?

What are my options for providing feedback on my classes?

After your class, you can rate the professors, the learning materials, and the technology on a scale of one to five stars. If you give a class less than three stars, please offer written comments so that our teacher management team may follow up with the teacher and enhance class quality.

We cherish every viewpoint and take reviews very seriously, so please send us your comments.

Will I be disqualified from the sprint refund if my class starts or ends earlier than expected?

No, you are not going to be disqualified.

There are very few occasions when a teacher or a student is a few minutes late to class or must leave a few minutes early.

You will not be disqualified as long as you, the student, do not miss more than 10 minutes of class.
If a teacher misses more than 10 minutes of a class, the teacher should mark it as missing.

Is it possible to book classes before the Sprint begins?

No, the rules clearly state this. Please contact support if you would want to try the platform before the launch date.

When can I book the class?

You will receive your credits before the start dates, allowing you to schedule for the start date you like.
If you book before the deadline, you will not be eligible for a refund.

So, if I'm not permitted to book classes, why can I see them in my account before the Sprint starts?

The method is the same for all students, but because you selected to participate in the sprint challenge, you must follow different regulations.

You must follow the regulations and keep track of the challenge's start and end dates.

What if a teacher has to cancel a class? When will I receive my credits and when can I use them?

If a teacher cancels one of your lessons unexpectedly, don't worry; it won't impact your scores and you won't need to schedule another class for that or any other day. The class will contribute to your sprint goals.

Credits for canceled classes will be reimbursed to you once the class has been logged, and they can be utilized after the sprint if you so desire.

Even if you have canceled you 'keep running' membership, you can only utilize these credits after the sprint has concluded. If you contact us in the last week of your sprint, we can add the credits and extend your account for free.

Is it possible to book a class without a teacher?

Yes, you can reserve this class and a teacher will be assigned to it.

If no one signs up for this class, it will be canceled and your credit will be reimbursed at the end of the sprint.
